WISDOM FOR TODAY
No Restrictions
No Restrictions
Is the Spirit of the Lord restricted? Are these His doings? Do not My words do good to him who walks uprightly? —Micah 2: 7
Is the Spirit of God restricted? Is He limited to whom He can speak through, or what He can say? Is the Spirit to be blamed for what is happening to the nation, or for the seeming weakness of the church today? The answer is no.
**God has no restrictions, no limitations.
The Spirit of God is not restricted in any way. Though we are weak and ineffectual, He is not. The Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts and declares, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit” (Zechariah 4: 6). And though I am baffled by the conditions of the world, He is not. He still has a heart for the world and still desires to draw the lost to Jesus Christ.
You can be an instrument in His hand regardless of your own abilities. God can use you without a seminary degree, and without a Ph.D. If you yield to Him, He can and will use you to share the truth of Jesus Christ with a dying world. We can be the light of the world and the salt of the earth if we will yield ourselves to God’s Spirit and let Him work out His plan through our lives. May God work through us to bring this world to its knees.
Father, we thank You for the power of the Holy Spirit to effect changes in lives and in societies. God, we pray for a spiritual awakening in our nation, through the anointing and the empowering of Your Spirit. In the name of Jesus, amen.

GOD’S ARMY Then the Lord said to Gideon, “By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand.” —Judges 7:7 God thinned the troops in order to get men He could use for His glory. Eventually, from the 32,000 men who answered Gideon’s call, only 300 remained.…
