DAN SHOCK

Dan was saved by Jesus Christ quite literally and physically and has accepted the mission of evangelism and discipleship to the business and professional community. He is driven by the Great Commandment and obedient to the Great Commission; Dan now commits his focus to helping business people become effective as Ambassadors for Jesus Christ, living the rest of this life to the glory of God and being a servant leader.

Dan has managed national sales teams for the Home Depot Supply and Hughes Supply and has been an executive board member of national companies. He has been featured in numerous magazines and speaks on topics ranging from Emotional Intelligence to Business as the Mission Field.

Dan is a decorated combat veteran who fought in the first gulf war - firing the 16 inch guns on board the last battleship – USS MISSOURI (BB-63) - before “The Mighty Mo” was decommissioned in Hawaii on the 50th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack with President George HW Bush aboard.

He earned his bachelor’s degree (BSBA) from the University of Tampa majoring in Finance.

Dan mentors young professionals utilizing the marketplace ministry CBMC’s free online discipleship tools “Operation Timothy” and “Living Proof”. Dan volunteers along with a team of godly men to help organize the annual Tampa Bay Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast (coming April 13, 2017) and the Quarterly MarketPlace Ambassador Initiative lunch.

Dan and his wife Sara welcomed their first son, Shepherd in August of 2014 and their daughter, Sunny on the day after the Superbowl in 2016 and make their home in Tampa Bay, FL.
